Hospitality/Entertainment
Castone has extensive experience in the hospitality, restaurant, and entertainment world. Here are just a few of the projects you have likely visited or walked by:
St. Louis Bar and Grill
Castone is proud to have built the St Louis Bar And Grill restaurants in Dartmouth and New Brunswick.
Neptune Theatre
in 2015-2017 Castone completely gutted and rebuilt both Fountain Hall and Scotiabank Theatres, complete with new bathrooms, box offices, bars, and seating. Not to mention a major upgrade to Neptune’s Lighting and Sound infrastructure. Working in a 100-year-old iconic building provided many challenges, but we are proud to have completed the project without any further disruption to their performance schedules.
Mezza Lebanese Restaurants
Next time you step foot into a Mezza restaurant, have a look around at Castone’s craftmanship. Castone is a proud partner with Mezza and has built the majority of their stores throughout Novas Scotia and New Brunswick.
Black Sheep
Castone had the pleasure of working with the fine folks of Black Sheep when they relocated from Dresden Row to the old Red Stag location in the Keith’s Brewery on Lower Water Street, Halifax. This project was a full gut of their kitchen, bathrooms, bars, and a new rooftop patio. The old Halifax structure provided it’s fair share of challenges, but Castone was up to the task.
The Oxford Taproom/Eastpeak Climbing
What a glow-up! Castone worked closely with Garrison Brewery to completely transform the old Oxford Theatre building to the 2-level taproom and patio it is today. We also took the old theatre and converted it to the climbing gym. Both projects required major structural problem-solving measures on the fly to achieve our goals. We’re proud to have been a part of this piece of Halifax history.
Loose Cannon (expansion)
Loose Cannon recently expanded into the old Subway location on Blowers and Argyle Streets.
